The chalet is located at an altitude of 1,600 meters in the Ahrntal Valley. You can reach the cabin on foot via a comfortable forest path in about 35 minutes. Alternatively, you are allowed to drive directly to the cabin with your own car at your own risk via the private alpine and forest road.

On the day of arrival, please come to our farm, the Oberkofl Hof (Koflberg 6), in the village of St. Jakob first for check-in. We will give you a warm welcome and then personally accompany you up to the alpine chalet. The chalet is at your disposal from 2:00 PM on the day of arrival.

On the day of departure, we kindly ask you to vacate the chalet by 9:30 AM for cleaning.

Yes, as a rule, we rent our chalet from Saturday to Saturday, which means 7 or 14 nights.

To secure your booking, we ask for a deposit of 30% of the total amount. Unexpected things can always happen. Should you not be able to start your holiday as planned, we always try to find alternative guests for the chalet fairly. If this is not successful, the following conditions apply:

• Up to 31 days before arrival: You can cancel the reservation free of charge. In this case, we only retain the deposit paid.
• 30 to 15 days before arrival: We charge 60% of the agreed total price.
• 14 to 8 days before arrival: We charge 80% of the agreed total price.
• From 7 days before arrival as well as in case of late arrival or early departure: Since we usually cannot rebook the chalet at such short notice, we charge 100% of the price for the unused days.
• Our tip for peace of mind: To ensure you are completely worry-free, we recommend taking out the tailored "Roter Hahn travel cancellation insurance" directly when booking.

The chalet offers plenty of space for the whole family. It has 2 separate bedrooms as well as a cozy sleeping quarters/bunk setup for the children (bed linen is already included).

Enjoy showering in fresh, warm spring water. Hand and bath towels, bathrobes, a hairdryer, shower gel, and slippers are waiting for you and are included in the price.

Yes. Despite the idyllic, secluded location, you do not have to compromise on comfort: Wi-Fi and a washing machine including eco-friendly detergent are available to you in the chalet free of charge.
